DAVID ARCHULETA

American pop singer-songwriter and platinum recording artist David Archuvotes. Signing with Jive Records, David released his first album in November 2008. The recording, David Archuleta, debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart and has sold over 750,000 copies in the United States and over 900,000 worldwide. His second CD, Christmas from the Heart, was new last Christmas, and he has just released his third album, The Other Side of Down. Opportunities for worldwide concert performances, as well as a variety of television appearances, have kept him busy, but he returns to Utah as often as his schedule

David Archuleta is the second oldest of five children, attended Murray High School, and is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Boy Scouts of America. He is actively involved in service organizations involving teenagers and has received three Teen Choice awards.

MICHAEL YORK

Multifaceted actor Michael York has enjoyed a successful career for over 45 years, creating an impressive body of work on stage, screen and in the recording studio. After performing with Britain’s National Youth Theatre and at Oxford University, he joined the National Theatre Company and made his film debut in The Taming of the Shrew. Included in his over 60 other screen credits are Romeo and Juliet, Cabaret, Jesus of Nazareth, The Three Musketeers, and Murder on the Orient Express. His television work ranges from The Forsythe Saga and Great Expectations to Road to Avonlea and Law and Order: Criminal Intent. Equally at home in musical theater and plays, he has recently toured the United States as King Arthur in Camelot and has also appeared on Broadway in Someone Who’ll Watch Over Me, The Little Prince, and The Crucible. Mr. York has narrated many documentaries and over 90 audio books for which, among other awards, he has received a Grammy Award nomination. He is the narrator of a new audio version of the Bible, The Word of Promise, and has performed concert versions of Shakespeare with music at the Kennedy Center and Hollywood Bowl, as well as Edvard Grieg’s Peer Gynt and works by Mozart and Walton.

Michael York was made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 1997, has been awarded France’s Arts et Lettres, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife of 42 years, celebrated photographer Patricia McCallum.
