Each year, the Light the World initiative of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints invites all to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ by sharing His love through acts of service around the world.
Giving Machine kiosks are one element of that initiative, and this year, the kiosks are in 126 cities across 21 countries on six continents — more locations than ever before.
Here are some highlights of how Light the World is bringing the love of Christ to communities worldwide this Christmas season.
United Kingdom
In London, members of Parliament, diplomats and Church leaders gathered in the heart of Westminster to celebrate the return of the Light the World Giving Machine kiosks. The special reception honored this year’s participating charities.
