Security Precautions for April General Conference

SALT LAKE CITY — The Church is asking visitors to April general conference and the general Young Women meeting to arrive a few minutes early for routine security checks. Security measures will be similar to those used during the 2002 Salt Lake Olympic Games. Significant delays are not expected.

Visitors will pass through magnetometers as they enter the Conference Center, and bags will be inspected. Guests are asked to leave backpacks, packages and food items at home.

More vigorous traffic and parking management will also be implemented to facilitate the movement of traffic entering and leaving Church facilities. Selected vehicles will be inspected before entering parking lots and garages.
