The session, conducted by Elder Dale G. Renlund of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, featured messages from three other Apostles of the Lord.
“Our emphasis at Easter encompasses the eternity-shaping events that occurred in the Garden of Gethsemane, on the cross at Calvary, and in the Garden Tomb where Jesus Christ was resurrected,” said Elder Quentin L. Cook of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.
“When we have a question, problem, or joy, Jesus Christ says, I am your answer — your way, your truth, your life,” taught Elder Gerrit W. Gong of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.
Elder Neil L. Andersen of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles focused his address on marriage.
“Within our sacred marriage, bound to God and to each other, we find ourselves in a crucible of spiritual development where the vital qualities of sacrifice, charity, patience, and being a peacemaker — the very character of Christ — can become a greater part of us.”
Primary General President Susan H. Porter directed her message to children around the world, speaking of our special relationship with the Savior, Jesus Christ.
“Jesus Christ knows you, He understands you, and He loves you,” she shared. “Jesus has done everything to help you. Stay close to Him. Learn all you can about Him. As you follow His example and teachings, He will help you grow into the magnificent person you are meant to be!”

Several other speakers taught about the nature of Christ.
“Easter Sunday is the ultimate celebration of Jesus Christ’s redeeming mission, especially His Resurrection,” said Elder Chi Hong (Sam) Wong of the Seventy. “The Easter season invites disciples of Jesus Christ not only to rejoice but to remember our Savior.”
Elder Aaron T. Hall of the Seventy echoed those same sentiments.
“In moments of joy, and in our trials, let us be faithful, obey His commandments, honor our covenants, and patiently wait on the Lord,” he testified.
“The Lord honors patient faith," Elder Taniela B. Wakolo of the Seventy added. “And it is never too late for miracles.”
